After fifty years, we've heard it all. From the horrors of war to the struggle for civil rights, Mississippians have shared their stories with us. The writers, the soldiers, the activists, the musicians, the politicians, the comedians, the teachers, the farmers, the sharecroppers, the survivors, the winners, the losers, the haves, and the have-nots. They've all entrusted us with their memories, by the thousands. You like stories? We've got stories. After fifty years, we've heard it all.
I enjoyed hearing about Mr. Jobie martin\'s accomplishments and i remember watching his television show while living in Jackson Miss. He even let my brother and his band perform once it was something i still reminisce about to this day, when they announced Charles Beasley or don Thigpen and the young breeds we had all the neighbors watching this black man hosting his own show and extending a hand to the young black youths it was history being made two fold for us. congratulations on your many accomplishments Mr. Martin and God Bless you!!!
